General Project Questions

What is Titanic: Honor and Glory?

Titanic: Honor and Glory is a role-playing, action-drama set aboard the RMS Titanic. Our biggest priorities are historical authenticity and respect for those who were on board. The game is done with Unreal Engine 4.

All of it! You’ll be able to explore every last compartment of Titanic in full detail. Every cabin, every corridor, every machine space or linen closet. You’ll be able to climb the masts and explore the propeller shaft alleys, then sit down for tea in the First Class Lounge

How much of Titanic are you building?

Production will be completed approximately two years from initial investment.

When will the game be finished?

Our company is Vintage Digital Revival, LLC, with our subsidiary company Four Funnels Entertainment, LLC. We are an eclectic team who has been working together for several years on this and other projects. We’ve also been working with the top Titanic historians to ensure this is done well. You can read about our team here.

Who is making this game?

This is done for three simple reasons; we’re a mostly American team, the name spelled with the "U" is already commonly used, and believe it or not, Titanic was actually an American-owned ship through the International Mercantile Marine Corporation. And because story...

Why not use "honour," the British spelling, instead of "honor?"

At this time, we are not looking for additions to the team without referrals from those already on board.

Can I join the team and work on the project?

We are aiming to create the ultimate Titanic experience – the "magnum opus" as a business relation put it. No other project can match our attention to detail or authenticity, nor can it match our level of reverence we are placing on this.

If we were game designers looking for a fun story to exploit, it would be. But, we all grew up loving history and Titanic specifically. This project began with the idea of bringing the story back to live to be passed down to the next generation through our work.

Isn't it disrespectful to make a video game about the Titanic disaster?

Yes, please! You can contribute through our contribution page, or check out our Contribute Section of this FAQ if you have further questions first.
