Hey, what’s the difference between a Render, and an In-Game image?
An In-Engine Image is a picture of the model after it has been put into the game engine. This gives the viewer a good idea of what the final graphics will look like. Renders are images where models alone are processed by a separate program. These show the level of detail in the models.
In-Game Screenshots
These are screenshots taken in the game engine (Unreal Engine 4). Please note that most of these shots show works in progress, test scenes, and concepts, and are not of final work.

Renders
These are renderings made with various rendering programs as a means of visualizing how they look with lighting and shading and showing our work in modeling the ship (a gargantuan task and nearly a whole project in and of itself) long before it's all finalized and placed in-game.
Please note that these images show works in progress and unrefined models.

A rendering of our extremely high detail, high polygon model of a light fixture from the First Class Dining Saloon (and Reception Room). This high poly model will be used to render normals and other details for our low poly version for use in-game. The same goes for the ceiling plaster work.

A rendering of our extremely high detail, high polygon model of an "acorn" type light fixture from the First Class Dining Saloon. This high poly model will be used to render normals and other details for our low poly version for use in-game. The same goes for the ceiling plaster work.

A rendering of one of the boiler models (a WIP), to be placed in the boiler rooms. This type of boiler is double-ended, with 3 furnaces on each end. There were 29 boilers on Titanic, 5 of them single-ended, totaling 159 furnaces.
